Works great!

Just one caveat/question. On my old phone (with 3D Touch) I could accept MFA-requests directly from the Home Screen, but my new phone, and all new iPhones, only have Haptic Touch. The Haptic Touch doesn’t let my take action from the Home Screen but instead opens the app, where I can accept the MFA request. Could you please fix that? :)

You should be able to pull down the notification and approve it, or swipe it from the lock screen to access the actions. If you don't see this, please email us at mobile_support@okta.com and we'll help. Thanks! Okta Customer Support

Not as good without the Watch App

Whilst I understand the rationale for removing the OKTA Verify watch app, I hope when it is again technically appropriate that OKTA restores that function…I almost never got my codes from my phone (primarily was the watch) and now am regularly frustrated by needing to go and get my phone when a code is needed. Bring that back and you get another three stars!

UPDATE:
5 months after writing the above (now end November 2023) I have in fact downgraded to two stars because of the lack of Apple Watch capability. EVERY DAY I’m forced to dig my phone out of my pocket, bag, or occasionally go to a completely different building in order to get the codes…technology is supposed to improve and simplify, this is no better than the old-fashioned dongle displaying a code.

Okta has ruined all convenience

With Google SSO/authetication all services were working flawlessly and seamlessly. IT dept. gave us Okta so that their job would become easier. The 700 employees that need access to services we use daily, are having constant issues and not being able to access our tools, without Okta interrupting all flows and "haphazardly" throwing us out. No awareness/sync between computer and phone (who would have thouhg it would be nice being able to access eg. Slack on multiple devices).Maybe not the fault of Okta, but there is work life BO and AO (before Okta and after Okta). If your IT dept. threatens to enroll Okta, I recommend start polishing your resume.
