Description

Overland tracks your location and sends your data to a server of your choosing. The app will save data while you're offline, and send it to the server later in batches.

Highly configurable tracking settings for optimal control. Choose between getting highly detailed track logs (and using tons of battery in the process), or tracking only significant movements allowing you to conserve battery life.

Track bike rides, runs, walks, car trips, train trips and more.

Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

Fantastic utility app

It can send data to any server if you just handle the data yourself server-side. Also built in configurable queueing. Such low-level stuff makes the app uncommon in the iOS world and an excellent choice if you build your own data logging solutions. The last update has fixed some long-standing niggles. Highly recommended.

Reliable queueing

Runs great and was even able to queue up tens of thousands of records while offline, which were them batch sent through once online again.
