Description
Prompt+ is a professional teleprompter app which helps you present with confidence.
Simply read your script as it scrolls up the screen.
Prompt+ can be used with Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet and many other video conferencing apps, as well as Facebook Live.
Simply position Prompt+ over the Zoom meeting and read your script as it scrolls next to the camera.
You will present with confidence and engage your audience with excellent eye contact.
Here are some of the features:
* Scroll the teleprompter using voice recognition (on compatible devices) or speed control.
* Change scrolling speed and pause the scrolling when going 'off script'.
* Display a clock to help you stick to time.
* Import your scripts from Files, Dropbox, Google Drive, iCloud or OneDrive in .txt, .rtf, .pdf and Google Doc formats.
* Add Rich Text formatting to make them easier to read.
* Set a countdown to get into position.
* Adjust the font size, colours, text alignment, line spacing, margin and width of the text area.
* Set the window transparency so you can see underneath the app.
* Mirror your text for use in a physical teleprompter device.
* Control the script remotely using a Bluetooth presentation remote, foot pedal, games controller, external keyboard or even another Mac or iOS device.

Use pointy brackets to mark areas of the script that voice recognition ignores. This is perfect for actors rehearsing scripts and recording self-tapes.

Most bang for the buck!
The voice recognition is the gem here.
The text scrolls wile you speak and stops if you stop talking, so you can keep things more natural.

Good and Bad
Good teleprompting app with great remote control features, however…
Voice recognition feature is limited to a few minutes per day even with the paid version (doesn’t say that anywhere before purchase).
No customer service - sent out emails weeks ago with no answer.
Minor issues with UI.
App has great potential but the issues let it down.
If they remove the voice recognition limit I will
Give it 5 stars.

Hi there, thanks for your feedback and I'm sorry if I missed your email to customer support - I do reply to them all so I'm not sure what has happened there! However, re the voice recognition limits... this is actually imposed by Apple, not by the app. So as it restricts how many times per day the voice recognition can be used, you often see this error message pop up when you're using the app a lot. But to avoid this error in future, you can move to the offline recognition mode using the steps below:
- Turn off voice recognition
- Turn on voice recognition
- In the confirmation box that appears at the top, tap the language
- A list of languages will be shown. Scroll to the bottom and you should have an Offline option. Select this. (if you don't have any offline languages, you can install them in the main settings app)
- Continue to use voice recognition, there should be no limits now.
