Qmedia can stream your multimedia content from NAS to Apple TV by logging into your QNAP NAS. All the videos, photos, and musics stored on NAS can be played by Qmedia. Please note: you need a QNAP NAS and install Video/ Photo/ Music Station via QTS App Center to get full function.

[Important Notes]
-Starting version 2.2.0, Qmedia no longer supports Photo Station. To browse your photos in Qmedia, follow these steps: (1) Install QuMagie on your NAS (requires QTS 4.4.1 or later). (2) Go to Multimedia Console. (3) Set QuMagie's content sources to the locations of your photos.

Good starts, but it needs improvement!
Brilliant idea for an app. Unfortunately it lacks some details, for example the IP address must be filled in, and if it changes the NAS won’t be find. The mobile app can find the NAS even if IP address is changed and even without cloud connection.
Second issue is the resolution, you can change resolution for videos and make them play, however you cannot save the settings, instead you have to select the same options for a new video. This problem doesn’t exist on mobile apps either...
