Absolutely fantastic, has a lot of potential

Sad I did not discover it sooner. The app is wonderful, yet I wish there was an iPad version and more functionalities. For example, I feel a bit constrained with the topics I chose in the beginning of setting up the app, I wish I could change things a bit more. As such, I selected some technology related topics along with my primary interest. And now my feed is much more screwed towards those technology topics than I would like.

Love your app! Best one I’ve downloaded in a long time.

The one thing I’m kind of missing is “”, AND, and OR statements in the filtering keywords. Tried it out but didn’t work. My point being I can’t filter for papers super-specific to my PhD work, but rather only “microbiome” which gives a looot of hits. Would love to be able to have a search like “MICROBIOME AND (“STOMACH CANCER” OR “GASTRIC CANCER”)”. Better even if the filters could still autofill your search and when pressing it all synonyms are included, like it does now; which is one of the most useful functions I’ve seen out there. Then OR and “” wouldn’t even be necessary, only the AND.

The absolute best I could envision this would be if when I press “Create Filter”, there are multiple boxes:

1. “Filter Name”

2. “Filter Term”

3. A + icon under the filter term, pressing it gives you a new filter term box underneath the first one

4. In this new box, “Filter Term”, still with a + icon under

5. Able to add up to 5 terms or so.

6. The same as before, “All Journals” and “Journals you follow” options and Done at the bottom.

Pressing Done makes the filter add all the 5 terms with automatical AND in between them. In your filter list, the new filter will have the name you gave the filter.

Sorry for the long post, just a lot of ideas and really like the app and would love to see this (or any other way for it) included in an update 😊
