Good app as you can read up on trains, airports, when the girlfriend insists on company while clothes shopping etc. This theory is in no way a substitute for practice, but do like me and try various things out once a month or so. I've been trying to snare a rabbit for weeks now and I'm glad I'm failing now rather then when my survival depends on it. On the other hand I'm getting pretty good at shelters and fire under nasty conditions. The app is well laid out with some pictures (not enough though), a quiz and so on. Some parts are dry, but overall very interesting. If you enjoy the reading you can try the courses from the company John Wiseman works with, Trueways Survival. Have done two and was satisfied, though of course nothing beats doing it on your own for the experience.

Detta är helt klart den bästa överlevnadsappen bland alternativen på AppStore idag. Den har långt många fler sidor från boken (som det ser ut, hela boken) än andra SAS-apps och är utformad på ett sådant sätt att man snabbt lär sig hitta det man är ute efter.

Tyvärr är filmerna korta, men informativa, och hänvisar till att köpa den fullvärdiga DVDn vilket känns lite snopet.

Allt som allt är detta appen jag skulle välja över alla andra, trots att den kostade lite mer. Den innehåller bra, relevant information om överlevnad. Inte bara i skog och mark utan i de flesta tänkbara situationer såsom vid bilolyckor etc.
Det finns även en första-hjälpen del som ser riktigt bra ut även om den skiljer sig något från den Svenska modellen.

För er som är sugna på en svensk överlevnadsguide kan jag gladligen berätta att ett sådant projekt påbörjats och väntas vara klart under sommaren, tills dess rekommenderas dock denna app starkt så länge språket inte är ett hinder.
