Mit der scen.ar/io Live Escape Game App kannst du virtuelle und echte Abenteuer in deiner Umgebung erleben. Die virtuellen Abenteuer kannst du bequem von jedem Ort der Welt spielen. Mit den Classics und Originals kannst du geheimnisvolle Orte und Rätsel in deiner Umgebung finden und meistern. Außerdem kannst du über das Storyboard auf https://storyboard.scenario.app deine eigenen Spiele entwerfen und veröffentlichen. Je nach kreativität des Spieleentwicklers nutzt die App dabei die nativen Funktionen deines Smartphones wie Geolocation, QR-Scanner, NFC Tags, oder Bluetooth. Ob ein Spiel innerhalb der App kostenfrei oder kostenpflichtig ist, entscheidet dabei ganz alleine der Autor des Spiels.
