Of all time the the most realistic and pro astronomy application

This is a real professional astronomical application. If you have a telescope this is the real deal.
For only observation by the phone i highly recommend reading the tips and be familiar with interface and all basic settings, a little higher learning curve than the others. Don’t enable full magnitude and enable all settings at once, try each settings and watch how it looks like is my advice.

Good even for me

This is, no doubt, a great astronomy program, and I have gone pro through several major version numbers. Why? I'm not an astronomer (but have some tentacles probing around in [research level] astrophysics) and don't even own a telescope due to living in the middle of a city with severe light pollution everywhere, so why do I want such an impressive astronomy thingamabob? Well, partly because of my lack of a telescope: This becomes my telescope! There are other reasons, such as that it has a huge (but still missing quite many objects I go looking for) catalog, and if there's something a nosy scurrying seeker-of-everything like myself needs, it's a huge catalog! Another big plus is the pretty many but sometimes far too brief "articles" about various objects; often with pictures and whatnot. It's not unusual to find facts here that I actually can't find elsewhere. On the back side, to moan a little after all praise, the search function is (for me) suboptimal. Wider possibilities to give search terms would be liquid gold. That, and the black holes (sorry!) in the catalog makes me unable to go above four, eeeh, stars.

Golden app with very minor issues

Great app. A few issues I experienced:

- Gimbal lock in zenith and nadir with quirky movement.
- Can’t continue in AR mode after selecting a star, would like to remain in AR mode until zooming or pushing information button.
- Review screen in app is dark mode. Review title is white text but review body text is black.
