Snapthread is a casual video editor and slideshow maker that makes discovering, compiling and sharing your favorite memories effortless. Merge Live Photos, stills, and videos, add titles and music, and share in one of five aspect ratios so your video looks great on any platform.

Crop and pray for the best

No control when choosing square from e.g 16:9. Feels cheap overall and the developer whining over ungrateful users (I do not mix up a name like yours) does not help. Cause I payed I probably keep it but unsatisfied customer I will remain.
Edit: I now see I’m excluded from updates cause I’m on 12 (13 not available for me) guess I’ll have to pray for an iPad as well.

I’m sorry Snapthread hasn’t been a good fit for your needs. It’s possible to try out every feature of the app (including cropping) before purchasing the one-time premium upgrade. Additionally, I don’t believe I’ve ever whined about my users or called them ungrateful, so you may have me mixed up with someone else. That said, I’d recommend requesting a refund directly from Apple (they have a form you can fill out) if you’d like your money back.
