Works already fine, just hoping...

Nice little app, both fun and useful. Thanks!

A feature I would love to see is the possibility to assign different voices to different parts of a text based on formatting (RTF, markup...?); i.e. one voice for plain, another for italic, perhaps even a third for fat. Thanks for considering...!

Netmanswe ,

Just a frontend

The voices and functionality are the same as you find in the Edit | Speach menu alternative in almost all apps. This appis just a frontend for the Text to Speach services that are provided natively in MacOS:

Developer Response ,

Hi Netmanswe,
Yes that is true, you can find the basic speech functionality in the edit menu. SpeakLine is a completely free tool what allows you to get more control out of this system functionality. You can easily select voices, change the speed/pitch of the voice to your preference and even export audio files.
I’m sorry to hear that this doesn’t satisfy your demands, but I think for many people this makes it way easier to access.

Mimoninonoo ,

Feedback right at the beginning?

G, you must be very desparate about getting full star, huh?

I've just installed it and am trying to make it work, because it does not, and you insist on getting a feedback. So here you go, it doesn't even deserve a 1
