i’m a relatively old player, having joined in mid 2015. when i started, star stable online was at it’s peak. Quests were coming out often, events were fun and playing didn’t feel like a chore. Not to mention, back then having a new horse come out was exciting and unexpected - something to look forward to. But as of me writing this, there’s been a severe lack of content. While the weekly updates remain, most of the updates are new horses or a race or two. We also haven’t had any main quests come out since mid 2021, as far as i’m aware. This is because the game is focusing on newer players. Because, new players haven’t experienced anything, and are the ones who bring in the most money whereas old players are more likely to already have bought most things, and have nothibg more to look forward to. They are also releasing horses too much, the latest one being the shire horses who were released about a month after the haflinger horses. This is an issue. They only care about our money, not actually giving us an enjoyable experience. More horses mean more starcoins needed, and more starcoins needed means more starcoins bought. Now moving on from that specific issue, we have the horrible customer support. Let’s set up a hypothetical situation - your account has bugged, and all your stuff has disappeared (which happens more than you’d think). You, as any normal player would, contact customer support in hope of getting your stuff that you have spent lots of money on back. You’ve most likely waited days, if not weeks by the time you get contacted back. Eager to see yourself getting your stuff back thanks to customer support, you rush to open the email. But what’s this? A copy pasted reply that every player that has ever contacted customer support for any issue alike yours has seen. But what’s worse is that two things can happen here; either the reply says nothing related to what you sought help for, or they say ”this can not happen; have you shared your password with anyone? we are not responsible for you losing stuff after sharing your login information.” Now you have never done that, as you are a responsible person. You tell them this, but they keep denying it possibly happen. In conclusion: should you, as a parent (or person looking to play themself) download this game? For now, I wouldn’t. While it is fun and has a great community, it is also unreliable. The dev & support team refuses to listen to their players, and are focused on new players. So once you reach that point where you are one of those with no quests left to do, you will also be abandoned. Why? Because you have already done what they want you to do. You’ve given them their money, and now they don’t need you, because there are new players who are giving them money.

I wanted to let you know that we've recognized both the positive and negative points you posted in your review. We want to be able to address and improve on every opening evaluation like yours. It was interesting to read about your experiences from back in 2015 and that the game was more exciting for you compared to today’s content. Certain of our players would like to see multiple kinds of new horses in the game as well.
We love to look back at all the content we’ve released over the years and are really excited about what we have been able to deliver this year so far! We hope you haven't missed that we have released two new main story quests already, together with a number of other revamps and long-awaited quests! For example, you get to help Baroness rebuild her racetrack, help Wolf Hall Inn with troubled tourists, and complete research on horses for Professor Hayden's book.
We’ve still released horses, of course, and we’re in the process of updating all of our older breeds so we can remove that older content from the game. We have also put a lot of focus on some bigger projects too, such as the updated player character and horse bonding!

Let me know more about what would you like to have that will recapture your excitement. What you'd like to see in our games, I'll pass them on to our game developers.
Moreover, I'm sorry to hear about your experience with our customer service. I regret learning that you had to deal with it. Knowing our players do not receive the help and support you deserve is unacceptable for us since we always want to offer you the best customer service possible. We take this seriously, and I won't hesitate to bring it up in our workgroups.
