Road trips can be fun, but they can also be longggggg. Driving on the open road for hours at a time is not for everyone. With States Plates you can now make that long drive much more enjoyable! Keep on the lookout for all 50 US license plates and D.C. with this app!

Now with the tap of a finger or the call of your voice you can keep track of not only the license plates you find, but also when and where you found them. All of this information syncs seamlessly with iCloud, so if you are playing together as a family, everyone will be on the same page.

Interested in learning more about each state in our great country? Luckily for you there are details and pictures for every state so you can learn more about when they each joined the union and what are some of their state symbols!

It is nice to know where popular restaurants or shopping centers are after a long day of driving. With the help of Yelp, States Plates lets you know what great restaurants, stores, and even hotels are nearby. So if you just want to take a break and kick back, we’ve got you covered.

This app has been updated by Apple to display the Apple Watch app icon.

• Music is no longer turned off when using the app. It is only temporarily silenced while using the voice control feature.
• There is still the ability to activate voice control from the command view by saying "Hey States Plates" but this feature must be activated through Settings --> States Plates --> Hey States Plates.
• Bug fixes related to being built with iOS 9.
