Strongbox (Non-Universal‪)‬ 4+

Includes everything you might need and want with loads of settings and features, love this app!
The cost for pro is definitely reasonably priced considering frequent updates and the quality of the app! I use Strongbox for both iOS and OSX and can recommend it!

Only thing I'm missing is better integration into password fields in different apps and browsers. But maybe it's not possible or I haven't set it up correctly. I usually need to open the app and copy the password manually.
On iOS I can always click the "password" button above the keyboard and Strongbox opens automatically and searches for the name of the app or website I were in just before. I don't have to manually enter the Strongbox app. Seems like this convenience is not possible in OSX?

Unfortunately, Auto-Fill is supported only on Safari at the moment, but we are always working on adding new features and options in the app :) -Nikola

Usable for a limited time only. Then it demands that you buy the upgraded version so that you can search through entries.
Considering that this is based on opensource material. Its pretty greedy to disable the search feature. I could not care less for the unlock features. Fingerprint unlock is buggy as hell anyways..

Hi, Mark the developer here. Obviously super disappointed to receive a review like this, something has obviously very badly upset you. I can only address a few of your comments here. First of all, the code and work is my own, and I have put an enormous amount of labour into the app. I made that code open source so others could benefit. Perhaps you didn’t know that? Just because something is open source does NOT mean it comes for free. Someone done the work, in this case, me. You can see this on GitHub in every commit.
I charge for the Pro features of the app, this includes Search and Touch ID unlock, everything else is free. I’m upfront about this, and this is messaged long in advance of the generous 3 month trial period. The app is super functional without these features and upwards of 70% of users use the app without ever upgrading.
I cannot work on the app without trying to make some money from it, I wish I could.
Again super disappointed to receive such an awful review as an independent app developer.

As a new Apple user (both Mac and iOS) I love Strongbox. It made it so easy for me to keep my Keepass files accessible on the new platforms with even added quality of life improvements like face/touch id. I use KeepassXC on Windows and Strongbox on the Apple platforms and sync the files through Onedrive.

I don't mind paying some money for software as long as it's reasonably priced, and I think Strongbox hits a real sweet spot for me personally. If it were much more expensive I would probably look at alternatives, but at the current price it's well worth it.
