telly`mote is a remote control client for Enigma2-based satellite and cable receivers. The app uses the receiver's web interface plugin, which must be working.

If you are looking for the perfect app whose developer will prepare an all-inclusive package at your feet for free without you having to deal with it or even think about it:

PLEASE DO NOT LOAD telly`mote!

telly`mote is a private, non-commercial project. No set top box manufacturer has ever paid attention to the app nor supported it in any way.

The entire Enigma2 universe has been sustained for almost two decades by a community of crazy people who invest their free time and money in it, contributing plugins, skins, picons, apps, tutorials and support for no return.

telly`mote is my contribution to it.

If you get involved and treat the community with respect, they will be happy to help you with questions and problems.

Free and the best!

It works perfect with VU+ and Dreambox. No other free apps come close to this one. Just like e2Remote Pro (not free) it enables streaming for VU+ Zero, though the box does not actually have built in streaming. In my opinion the streaming works much better and more stable on the Telly‘mote.
I hope the developer will add a few more features that only the e2Remote Pro have.
I’ll gladly pay like 0,99$ for a Signal Finder for example. When your out on the roof after the storm it’s so easy with your iPhone and e2Remote Pro to dial in the disc again.
