SYNOPSIS: Drawing Island

You and The Flying Squid visit a special island, full of pretty pictures that are difficult to decipher. The sliders look like snakes and the submarines look like sharks. It seems that the whole island is made of drawings! How fun! Values: Encourages imagination and creativity, as well as enriching the capacity for empathy and visual interpretation.

WHO IS THE FLYING SQUID?

The Flying Squid is Chopito! Literally a squid-out-of-water, learning everything about life from scratch. But Chopito is lucky, because he has your child to help him make sense of the world. Chopito - the Flying Squid - is comical, innocent, imaginative, with a whale-sized heart inside of him. He is any child’s perfectly imperfect friend. He flies like a kite and inspires like a star. He is the squid-child in you.

RECORD YOUR OWN NARRATION

Even if you go on a business trip, your children can still hear your voice through your recorded narration. Also, children can practice their reading skills by recording their voices, which you parents can enjoy when you’re away in a distant, lonely hotel room. (It works both ways!) And use iCloud to back up your narrations.
