Description
Build quaint island towns with curvy streets. Build small hamlets, soaring cathedrals, canal networks, or sky cities on stilts. Block by block.
No goal. No real gameplay. Just plenty of building and plenty of beauty. That's it.
Townscaper is an experimental passion project. More of a toy than a game. Pick colors from the palette, plop down colored blocks of house on the irregular grid, and watch Townscaper's underlying algorithm automatically turn those blocks into cute little houses, arches, stairways, bridges and lush backyards, depending on their configuration.

Fun and creative
I have been waiting for this game to get an release on ios for quite some time.
I like building games in general and many of them require spending time on tutorials but this is more simplified. There aren't many controls and options but thats the beauty of it, anyone can pick it up and play.
The animations are spot on and i like that you discover new building techniques every time. By this i mean, when building new houses in different shapes and/or placing building blocks on roofs and so on. The game automatically creates a new architectural design. The game is really polished on this part.
But it isn’t perfect, here are some feedback:
60 fps play, it feels a bit laggy with 30fps lock.

Camera improvement is needed, would be great if you could move around freely. Its a bit hard to navigate around because the camera feels fixed on a center-point and you move around it.
Different environment, not just water around you.
Add people and cars for more of a alive feeling.
