Description
Logistics and transport are essential parts of the process chain in asphalt road construction. Supplying the construction site as needed is one of the key success factors for road construction in high quality. In order to control the process, it is important to know the accurate position of all vehicles during their transport trip. This transparency about transport enables the construction site to coordinate the installation in advance and, if necessary, to react at an early stage to a disruption in transport performance. The same applies to the mixing plant. High transparency at the mixing plant allows staff to act proactively and coordinate the loading of vehicles for different orders accordingly.
The TruckBuddy app connects the construction site, mixing plant and trucks by providing the necessary information throughout the whole logistics chain.
