Unfolder is a 3D model unfolding tool for creating papercraft.

Workflow
1. Create a 3D model in a modeling tool
2. Import the 3D model into Unfolder to generate the 2D template
3. Edit the template in Unfolder
4. Export the template to print or do further editing in other applications

• Import 3D objects in OBJ format
• Supports materials and textures
• Sync 3D objects with Blender and Cinema 4D in one click

Unfolding
• Generate 2D template for your 3D models in a few seconds
• The algorithm is highly optimized for papercraft to minimize your effort in further editing

Editing
• Move and rotate the parts
• Join and split the parts
• Lay out the parts automatically
• Switch, add, remove, and merge the flaps
• Reshape the flaps
• Mirror and copy the shape of the flaps
• Automatically optimize the flap shape to avoid the collision

Display
• Generate the unfolding animation
• Highlight overlapping or overflowing parts
• Display the flap targets
• Display the fold angle of the edges

Styling
• Customize the color, width, and dashing of the lines
• Individually control the appearance of the cutting line, ridge-fold line, and valley-fold line
• Hide unnecessary lines manually or automatically

ID
• Add the part IDs and join IDs
• Customize the size, color, and font of the IDs
• Automatically sort the IDs into a specific order
