Beskrivning
Run a virtual macOS machine on your Apple Silicon computer.
On first start, the latest macOS restore image can be downloaded from Apple servers. After installation is finished, you can start using the virtual machine by performing the initial operating system setup.
You can configure the following virtual machine parameters:
- CPU count
- RAM
- Shared folder
This application is free and open source software, source code is available at: https://github.com/yep/virtualOS

Hard to use for development purposes
Wanted to use virtualOS to be able to beta test apps via TestFlight on the same computer we developed on in a separate macOS environment. However, macOS VMs doesn't support Apple ID log in, which means you can't log in to iCloud and App Store, which means you can't download TestFlight, which means you can't use this easily for development testing. The UI is very good and user friendly for other purposes though!
Off with a good start
I just got my first Mac, I need to learn to use MacOS as Im an Enterprise Device Management architect. I needed a virtual mac to test for example Intune and other device management solutions. I was very pleased with the simplicity of this app. No need to struggle with images etc. I just works. I'll give a 5/5 the day you can create multiple VMs.
