French number does not receive sms

I bought a ”French” number. I can send sms but am not receiving any of the replies.

French messages do no work

I bought a French number to be able to use it for text/sms messages for sign up on different services, bank etc but the messages are not delivered. Voke does not guarantee it to work. It's only for sms messages directly from French phones that they guarantee delivery.

it sucks

it is not free. You have to a have monthly subscription.
it has only 5 countries to choose from.
It doesn’t work. i can message but i don’t receive anything even the verification codes from different online services. So it is useless & waste of money.
