If you’re like us, you’ll be downright captivated by the frenzied excitement that comes with decking out a battle-hardened tortoise. In this shooter/clicker hybrid, you control an armed reptile fending off an ever-advancing horde of beetles, iguanas and birds. To hold off the impending onslaught, you’ll plaster your shell with mortars and machine guns while enlisting field mice, bumblebees and sparrows. While the idea is admittedly silly, the execution is anything but, making it a world you’ll love coming back to.

Flawed excellence
This game is downright amazing.... sadly, the flow between the forced and also optional ad watching is clunky, broken and frustrating as hell.
Lock your screen? Ad.
Swipe out the app? Ad.
Want to double your credits? Ad.
Optional upgrade? Ad.
The problem is these ads freeze, they crash the game, they forget you’ve seen one and you can end up watching three in a row.
If you accidentally miss the X and tap the ad? It takes you to the App Store and when you come back? ANOTHER AD... or maybe three? Why not?
Please dial it back or at least fix the damn transitions.
