WebSSH is an awesome SSH, SFTP and Port Forwarding client ٩(^‿^)۶

Whether you are in the office, on your sofa, on holiday at the beach or even in the mountains : WebSSH will be useful to you everywhere, all the time and all your devices will be synchronised!

The name sounds weird? Think twice! WebSSH is a NATIVE and LOCAL SysAdmin Toolbox with Privacy and Security in mind which ensure that no data will leave your device outside your own secure servers.

Works (almost) flawlessly

In my previous review, I wrote that the app suddenly started to bomb when trying to connect to a host. Seems my configuration, stored in iCloud, somehow got corrupt.

After I deleted and reinstalled the app w/o checking the ‘Use iCloud’ button, it all started working again. Had to recreate all connections, which was a somewhat of nuisance but since they weren’t that many it didn’t really take that long.
But a bummer still.

Btw, it’s unclear what’s gets stored on iCloud. Is it just the connections data, or does it include one’s ssh keys, too? If so, is the data encrypted?

(And oh, yes it’s a GREAT app! No hidden costs, no frickin’ subscriptions. And it works (most of the time ; )!)
