Weather requires a subscription to cover the weather provider service costs. The subscription period is 3 months and will auto-renew, unless you cancel your subscription from your iTunes account 24 hours before the expiration date. You can also turn off auto-renewal by going to Account Settings on the App Store.

Good app but..

I like it but I feel it’s that you have to pay and they still have a subscription fee though?
I hope to see even more unique widgets and also integrations with common apps like todoist, spark and similar. 😊

It would be 5 stars but I don't like that you can’t see if the app will store, track and sell any personal information about you. Their privacy policy just links to twitter?

With every company tracking everything online I would like more information about it before giving it 5 stars and will update when they update the info.

The privacy policy of the app can be found at widgetwizard.app and should be linked to from the app. Rest assured that all of your health information stays on your device. If you use the weather functionality, your latitude and longitude is sent to the Weather API to determine your location. I use Google Analytics to track generic information like which pages of the app are viewed, but everything is generic and no personal information is sent to Google.

Regarding the subscription: unfortunately weather services have an ongoing cost to me. I need to charge a subscription to cover those costs, otherwise I’d end up losing money.
