abillion - better social media 12+

This is probably my first ever app review. I guess writing food reviews on abillion encouraged me to write app reviews too, but reviewing this app is a must, I can’t find an excuse not to. Me being a quite vegan myself just following my diet, started using this app to primarily find vegan restaurants around or places with good vegan options. Writing food reviews and raising funds to donate for causes that support this great initiative, and seeing how much impact it’s already making is what made me start writing reviews. The more I wrote and raised funds, the more it kept me encouraged to do. Kudos to the idea, the initiative and every single person behind this app for doing such amazing work!

I started using this app about few months ago and realised that some of the review by member of public was inaccurate. For example there’s still a significant amount of people misunderstood vegan and thought vegetarian is vegan. So some of the store in Singapore displaying the vegetarian sign, they do contain egg, milk, cheese or even butter which is classified as vegetarian but definitely not vegan. I seen so many reviews of vegetarian foods with the Vegan label on it. And all reviews do not need approval from Abilion. As a vegan myself, i find it very not reliable to use Abilion and their reviews from member of public. I feel that the app should make it a point to let ppl know vegetarians isn’t vegan before every review is submitted (if Abilion find it not possible to approve every single review before it’s release out)

I don’t usually post reviews for apps because I don’t really bother. But I’ve really got to write a review for Abillion, because it’s one of my favourite apps. Abillion has been a companion of sorts in my journey of becoming a vegan - I get to review vegan food in my city and also raise funds for charity in the process. I also get to find out what vegan food there is in the city (surprisingly A LOT!) through the food reviews of others. It’s a bustling community where we are all passionate about veganism and living a kinder life on Earth 🌱❤️.
