If the product malfunctions, the app alerts you immediately. You'll never have a cold home or shower again!
Furthermore, with Ariston NET Pro**, your service centre can provide 24/7 assistance, monitor the product and intervene to solve any problems, even remotely!

DO NOT INSTALL THE APP

Summary:

JUST USE THE HEATER WITHOUT CONNECTING THE APP.

Longer version:

Forget about whatever WiFi functionality or voice control, take it as you paid extra for nothing. If you insist in trying to use this, upon connecting to the app, the app will instantly brick your working heater without a way to restore it without a way to using it manually.

It is almost like the company wrote a malware for their own heater without testing on the various models and jumping on the smart home bandwagon without actually investing in the proper development.

App will just show that the heater is connected, actual heater showing heater is trying to reach the temperature but the actual heating does not occur even after hours of waiting. Even after disconnecting the product to the app, the heater firmware will be set according to the bricked app settings. Your heater will never go back to the actual factory settings.

When contacted, Ariston has no solution and will just keep to provide more information without any inputs to grind you down, hope you don’t contact them anymore and move on. Great work on building your brand equity, will avoid your product like plague.

Be prepared to see the cut and copied reply for this review, that will make my point about how the business is management and the lack of any aftersales capacity.

Smart product with not so smart software…

Obviously developer had never use smart apps before. Why on earth would someone want to limit their water heater to only work for 2 slots a day??? So the water heater is not designed for household uses???? The product work fine… but the apps make it worthless!

Better off with other products if given chance!

Scheduling Error

I was happily using the previous App where the scheduling was working fine. Now with this new app, the scheduling doesn’t work. I emailed the helpline. Provided them the details they needed and even sent a video recording. Have not heard from them ever since (5 days past)
