Love the app, love the lock!
I love this lock and the app, great manual to install, step by step guidance, app works very well, intuitive, user friendly, if only it could make me my coffee I would give it 6 stars 😂😂😂🙈🙈🙈
Don’t trust the reviews, app on watch does not work
My wife got stuck outside the door for one hour today because her august app on her watch does not work with zero information and error message. I managed to open the door only because I have Apple Home set up and I integrated August smart lock with it.
The watch app is UNRELIABLE. I have emailed them before on this and it has always been unreliable. One could spend ten minutes outside the door trying to open the door with the watch.
Compatible outside the United States...BUT
Well. I live outside the United States. There is an issue with the verification but can be settled if you call customer support. They are pretty helpful, only thing is if you want to set up multiple accounts. It’s gonna take you some time.
Another thing is away mode. When I get back. It’s kinda touch and go whether my door automatically unlocks for me. A real pain if your hands are full.
