BUG cloud Peak
There is a bug for RASSAD quest at cloud peak mountains. There is not way I can get to it, not to mention even seeing it on the map. Searched all over the web and followed specific instructions on how to get there, nothing happens. All quest related tasks were done in order and nothing happened.
Did not see the Ghost Knight either. This is not very good.

Hello! In order to get to the Cloud Peak mountains, you have to get a lead in the BG city first. Then you'll be able to access the area from a region with a Flaming Fist soldier and gibberlings.
Brings back memories
I finished this game back in 2002 using the Fighter Class, this may sound wierd.. but before my band of characters faced the final boss, (spoiler...) there's a portion in the game where each of my characters share their feelings about the journey and all challenges they went through. I literally went into tears. I really got so attached to the characters because the story detail, game content and dialogues are so deep and complex, you can really feel the emotion of each member.
It truly is a great RPG experience. It's like diving into an intricate Fantasy novel. It doesn't need super high-end 3D effects and graphics.
This game puts you in the hot-seat sometimes, choosing what path to take in your journey, who to align with, who to save, what artifact to to quest for…
it not only affects your journey, but also how each members of the band respond to the band leader.
This game make you think before you attack. This ain't no all hack-and-slash game.
- Did you equip the right weapon?
- Where and how far should your mage be for a long-range fireball?
- How will you develop your melee guys and what spells will you boost for your mages?
You can also do creative ways of trapping/stalling enemies.
I've played Morrowind, Skyrim, Diablo (all expansions) and Warhammer40k games (this is RTS), but Baldur's Gate has a special place in my heart.
