Getting better

This app was terrible several months ago when I first used. Basically, nothing seemed to work properly. It was as if the app Developers never had the product with them at all.
Fast forward to now, I reinstalled the latest version, and I could see some functions working correctly.
This should have been done right off the bat, but well, at least they bothered to improve, so credit for that. Keep going B&O.

E8 2nd gen earphones

Firstly, extremely disappointed with the earphones. Sound is completely flat, lacks any bass.
The app only supports E8 3 rd generation earphones and not 2nd generation

Thank you for the response, finally managed to connect the app, despite playing around with settings, I regret buying these earphones. Unable to listen beyond 5 minutes as I find them completely lacking any depth.
Using a size up on the ear buds (1) the earphone won’t fit and become uncomfortable and painful.

To add further, the app won’t connect with b&o playmaker, which is connected with my beolab 20 speakers

I do appreciate your attempt to respond:

1) as suggested, the playmaker and app are on the same network and on the contrary, despite connecting, the play makers white light started flashing. Took a few hours to reset the entire system but now there is a constant static sound in the speakers.

2) furthermore, on the E8 earphones , I have experienced intermittent sound loss in the left earphone unit. While reading online reviews, I have read similar issue faced by many.

When connecting your Playmaker please make sure that both your Playmaker and your phone are within the same network. EDIT: Please do accept our apologies for your experience. In order to prevent loss of sound, it is always best to keep the Beoplay E8 as close together as possible when switching them on as opposed to switching them on when in-ear. When it comes to static noise, please could you kindly check that all connections are fitted securely and that the wattage provided by the power outlet is compatible with the product?

Works easy

It works on first use, without any panicked flipping through the manual. I enjoy being able to adjust the EQ via my phone.

I usually hate the need for extra apps to play music, but this app provides enough unique functionality to be worth the extra app.
