Good game, can be addictive
I loved it that this game trains your mind to be fast. 3 suggestions to make the game great:
(1) Cut the annoying repetitive music waiting for other players. (2) Provide links to dictionaries for meaning of words so we improve our vocabulary. Better still, the meaning appears right away when we hold & tap on the word after each game. (3) After each live tournament, allow us to see the results or summaries esp. the words we missed or the words found by the other player.
Lost my winning streak due to app maintenance
I was on a 988 game winning streak accumulated over 2 years. Due to an app maintenance 2 weeks ago, the interface failed to show any games that was awaiting my turn (even though I was aware there were games on my turn) after the maintenance. I was worried that such games would be auto-resigned after 7-11 games if it was left unplayed on my turn, and hence would lose my winning streak. I pleaded with game support to look into this and they assured me that “no games were being lost”. However, a few days later, I woke up to see my winning streak reset to zero even though I did not lose any games. An opponent who had never beaten me suddenly had 4 wins against me (ie 4 games had been auto resigned for me) confirming my suspicion that the app failed to display outstanding games awaiting my turn after the game maintenance. And worse, the game support had lied to me even though I tried to flag the bug prior to losing the winning streak. Now they reassure me that they are looking to “restore my winning streak”. I’m highly sceptical they will bother to fix the bug, let alone fix for one player. It has been heartbreaking to see 2 years’ effort lost (the streak could still have been ongoing now) due to the support team’s negligence, and I think it’s unlikely I’ll continue playing even though have played this for the last 11 years.
I need to keep reloading the App every day
I have been using this app for two years already but recently I have to keep deleting this app and download again from cloud every day in order to play. After I download it will work for a while, about a day and after that when I click on e app on my iPhone, it will go blank . I have to delete the app from my iPhone and download again from cloud in order to continue to play. What’s the problem?
