Feedback
After I look up a word, the whole screen will ‘shake’ to reveal the bars on TOP and bottom, while the who text will shift up and down. I got lost track of my words during the process. It is very annoying to me.
Unfriendly user interface
1. The app lags when I started scrolling up and down
2. Does not support Apple pen. I had to click on the pencil icon every time to take notes and close it again in order to move on to the next page. Imagine doing it for every single page
3. The nightmare when the notes i have taken disappeared
4. Search function is of no use. Zero results turn up
5. Bookmark function is not user friendly. I am unable to find the function to remove the bookmark for pages that I have marked wrongly. The function doesn’t allow for naming of the bookmark which makes it hard for user to remember what the bookmark is for. Appreciate if any one could advise on the bookmark function if you managed to delete or edit the bookmark
The app could take references from Notability which has user friendly functions. It’s supports Apple pen, note taking was a breeze and search function could be applied across multiple documents. Bookshelf should look through their user interface to support readers in their learning and not to add to their frustrations.
If it wasn’t a requirement for the school to purchase the ebook via this platform, I wouldn’t consider using this app.
Bookmark Function
The bookmark function doesn’t appear on the top right to actually bookmark a page so it’s difficult to go back to where we left off from. Please help to fix this. The bottom row always shows the bookmark tab but it’s empty cuz nothing can be added to it
