1 government ID and 5 minutes are all you need to open a BPI savings account. Open an account with your Passport, Driver's License, Postal ID, SSS ID, PRC ID, or UMID. No need to go to the branch. Once the account is opened, you can immediately access BPI online banking services!

Mobile key is not working!
I have installed this app on my iphone and the mobile key is not working. I went thru the device registration via sms and login to my account and then setup the mobile key on the app. All successful. However, when you use internet banking using your computer’s browser or even the browser of my iphone, I am supposed to receive a mobile key notification to approve the transaction but no notification is received. I initially thought it was my iphone that has the issue but after testing most of my apps are working and able to receive/send notification, it is only this app that has an issue. I don’t understand why BPI have to replace the old BPI app that was perfectly working! App store should remove this for not functioning at all. The ratings speaks volumes and a testament that this do not work at all.
Ridiculous Crappy App
i’m unable to make payment on my credit card as bpi app and internet banking has some issues on international SMS OTP. I can’t even activate the mobile key on the app as it will trigger the SMS OTP to make the changes!! So inconvenient!!.. I called the customer service hotline and they shared that there is no solution for this. I also asked how am i supposed to make payment? and they just replied sorry!.. so funny!! they are so helpful!!!! there is no solution and they also can’t help me to make payment on their end (want to pay my bpi cc with my bpi savings account).. oh well.. thanks for making your internet banking and new app to be more inconvenient with your customers overseas!. guess that bpi’s security infrastructure is still far left behind!..
App is terrible!
This new app is not very OFW friendly. My current network provider do not allow international SMS and that means I cannot use my overseas number to do the registration. I had to use my Philippine number to register my device only to be randomly deregistered after some time. Just now the app was crashing and I was not able to open the app at all so I had to do the whole process of deleting the app > changing SIM cards > register, for the 3rd time and It’s really getting frustrating! How can you claim that this new app provides a better experience when the old app was working much better than this new one? I hope your next upgrade will consider overseas clients in the picture.
