Description

‘Broken Sword 2 – the Smoking Mirror: Remastered’ sees the return of George Stobbart and Nico Collard in the sequel to the App Store #1 smash hit ‘Broken Sword 1 – Shadow of the Templars: Director's Cut’, widely praised as the best adventure available for iPhone / iPad.

While investigating a ruthless drug gang, journalist Nico Collard unexpectedly comes across an ancient artifact. Little can she know that the ornately carved obsidian stone will lead her, and her adventuring companion George Stobbart, into a mysterious escapade of intrigue and deceit, in which they must overcome powerful forces and antagonists who will stop at nothing to fulfill their evil ambitions.

‘Broken Sword 2 - the Smoking Mirror: Remastered’ is a stunning update to the million-selling original. Along with an exclusive new interactive digital comic, from ‘Watchmen’ co-creator Dave Gibbons, the game boasts fully animated facial expressions, enhanced graphics throughout, high quality music as well as a context-sensitive hint system, and diary. The game also features Dropbox integration which facilitates a unique cross-platform save-game feature, enabling players to enjoy the same adventure simultaneously on multiple devices, full Game Center integration – including in-game achievements – and many other enhancements.

Love it, mentally stimulating - u wont want to stop.

This is the THIRD episode of broken sword ive completed playing since it's pc days, and the first of the ipad versions. Though i prefer the pc version where the graphics are nicer, n there's less talking among characters (n the character nicole is less lively here) the developers took pains to develop the ipad version which runs seamlessly and perfectly. In this episode, plot is not as interesting as the others, but it still lives up to it's name: the plot is still challenging, creative, humourous n still gets you thinking wayyy out of the box to move from one scene to the next.
thats why the game is so fun for those seeking challenges n broken sword series deserve better ratings and reviews.

Gd hinting system

I have to agree with most of the reviews in saying this app is really awesome. The hints are quite comprehensive and they're built up such that they're not all revealed at once and there's still a slight challenge left to you. Best of all, the hints are free - and u don't have to wait either.
The story is interesting, I suppose. A little disjointed at parts and it tends to skate over some portions, but cohesive enough.
