Worst app ever

Useless app with pretentious means of customer service. Ordered a meal with the app and everything was going well at first. Until they said they couldn’t find a driver. Okay sure, so i patiently waited and they found a Foodpanda rider - great.

But immediately I was hit with a “BK is still looking for a rider to pick up your order. Would you like to continue or cancel your order”. Thinking that there would be a button or option to select, i tried pressing everywhere. What’s the point of having this question if there is no follow up button or option to select?? My order is probably still floating somewhere on the server waiting for an action that I cannot take because THERES NO BUTTON FOR IT. I remain today still yearning for the order, waiting for a simple meal that refuses to arrive because it is stuck in limbo. King of burgers? more like king of failed app developers

Thank you for exposing me to this failure of an app. Disgusted.

Pickup at your own caution!!!

Please don’t use their pickup service to order ahead, your order will never be processed. I tried ordering ahead to pickup, even keyed in my card details, successfully ordered and everything went smoothly until I realised there was no order number displayed in the app and that my order status was still pending even after the pickup time. Went down to the outlet to pickup and they said they never received my order and told me to just wait. Of course I didn’t wait because god knows when the order will even go through so they told me to order again at the outlet kiosk. Staff was nice enough to take a photo of my order in case it got processed and I got charged for paying a meal I never got. Fast forward, it’s been 2 days, as I’m writing this my order is still pending waiting to be processed lol. But luckily my card didn’t get charged. Just don’t do it. Go down to the outlet to order instead.

User experience is not great at all

I understand that they may charge a premium for Take Out/Delivery, but that should not be the start for a food delivery app, or deciding which branch we would to pick up from. Since menu are almost exactly the same except for the costs.

Secondly it makes no sense to not have the menu not working after the physical shops are closed, some people just want to browse through the options for lunch or dinner the next day. The point of digitalisation is to make information more readily accessible anytime, anywhere.

The thought process for Burger King isn’t the same as clients nor other delivery apps such as Deliveroo where the menu is dependent on the location, Burger Kings menu are almost 90% always the same, so please reference competitors app to improve on the user experience here.
