After this latest update, the app no longer conforms to the iOS setting for dark mode. It also doesn’t auto refresh the latest SOC of the car when viewing the main page after swapping in from another app. I also wish that there’s a way to change the colour of my vehicle to the actual one I bought.

Btw, when are we getting support for digital key like how’s it’s already available in Europe?

Dear BYD app engineers

I am a proud owner of a BYD Seal and an iPhone user. The iPhone widget has brought great convenience to your car owners with their phones but it still feels like it is still an incomplete half-step.

1) Could you please add Siri Shortcuts to the BYD app please?

2) For operation passcode, can you please add FaceID integration for faster (and more secure) access?

It doesn’t seem to require great effort to implement the above 2 features, but the UX and convenience for all your users, both domestically and globally, will improve significantly with these additions.

Adding the suggested features will allow owners to use Siri voice commands alongside the app and any command that requires an operation passcode, when triggered using FaceID will be executed with much greater speed and security.

I understand that biometric login is already a feature for app login, but most users only login once on their phones and remain logged in for a long time. On the other hand, the operation passcode needs to be keyed in multiple times during the day and have a much greater impact on the user experience. It is therefore, more mission critical to have the biometric confirmation work with the operation passcode.

Given that phone users are already long accustomed to such conveniences, these should be top priority features in the development pipeline.

With this latest update, after locking the vehicle via app a manual pull down to refresh status is required. Previously this was not an issue and i’m able to see the updated status of my vehicle after action conveniently.
