Worse idea ever
So, I got my ZF9350BT months back and it works well until couple weeks ago, i realized I was unable get it to find my hotspot; I needed it to connect via my phone hotspot in order to update the firmware. I managed to get it to find the hotspot via my old phone hence I figured it could be due to my new iPhone 13 Pro but since I got it updated, I didn’t think much of it.
Fast forward to last week, my wireless CarPlay just decide to stop working as well; it simple wouldn’t connect despite whatever troubleshooting method I can find via Google.
Today, I found out via Car AV Assist there is a new firmware 2.00 and I got it updated (again through my old phone) but guess what? Although both hotspot and CarPlay works now, it would not connect automatically like before and it now need the Car AV Assist app to be launched before both function works. How crappy can this be? Whoever design the way this works ought to be fired. And each time I wanna connect to CarPlay, I have to launch the app and get it done manually. Seriously, this is crap.
Is not compatible to iPhone
Can’t connect or adjust anything at all, Pioneer is not so friendly towards iPhone after all
