Just that one ad
This is probably the best chess app there is out there. The non-premium version suits all my needs and the playing experience is sublime. I won’t complain about the fact that they keep pushing you to buy their premium version. Developers need the support after all. HOWEVER, there’s this one ad that pops up at times and I cannot close it because three quarters of it is hidden at the top left while the remaining quarter sticks out, blocking the board forever and making me have to reboot the entire app to get rid of it. I would really appreciate it if the developers can fix this...

How this app improves your chess skill
This app provides a variety of types of matches that you can choose from and a variety of timings. It also has puzzles for you to improve your vision and game reviews where you can see what mistakes you made during a game and what can be done better. Furthermore, it also have different bots of different skill levels for you to practice with. To improve, you can also take lessons where you watch a video and test your knowledge with a few challenges

Good chess app but lacking in proper matchmaking
The app is good but is unfair when the system matches you with strong players with average wins clearly higher than you. Sometimes they match people with elo 200 apart or more. How is this going to promote fair play? Obviously the stronger players will win. Please review your matchmaker and make it a fairer experience for all. People do not log in to experience 3-4 losses in a row.

Hello! We're working hard to ensure that piece movement reactivity and accuracy is optimized on the app. To avoid mis-clicks you can enable the option "Confirm each move" in Settings--Live Chess. That way you can make a move on the board and confirm it with a checkmark, or you can tap the X to take back the move. We're happy to help with anything you need at support@chess.com!
