  • Chocolate finance transparency

    Labenzo

Due to 2 finfluencers providing inaccurate reviews, I withdrew 60% of my funds. Although, there was a delay, I did receive my money back. This was a move I regretted because after the ceo spoke about this saga and clarified how our money is managed, I am now certain I should have kept my money with cf.500m withdrawal and reduced from net aum due to this saga is no joke. But the ability to survive just shows how poorly our judgement has been clouded by these two finfluencer. I will start placing my money back to cf.

  • A 0 wouldve been more reasonable despite the easy use.

Ive been a “user” of chocolate finance & although the app have been a good source of “vault” for me, i cant help but to ask why is every single transaction made in & out the account we created have to be sent A LETTER PER TRANSACTION. Just last month itself, i received over 40+ letters for for all 40+ transactions i made. I tried calling DBS & they literally have no clue either or how to stop this. I tried high & low searching for the option to opt out the physical letters & be sent an e statement instead but to no avail!Even if an e statement were to come into effect, id really honestly wld prefer a monthly e statement rather than being sent 1 email per transaction i make. Ridiculous. The amount of paper being used is insane. Literally a transaction of less than a dollar will be sent to me seperated from a another transaction about what the same amount. This have to be rectified. Not only it is wasting papers & killing the trees, imagine the reaction i got from my family members thinking i got some kind of debt! Very unfortunate heated misunderstanding argument i had with my family. Please get back!

We are sorry to hear this! The letters do come from DBS not us. We are trying to stop these! You can always withdraw to another bank and then you will no longer receive any more letters.

Hi there,This is with reference to the review posted by me on 14th Sept. I am able to login successfully after connecting to Wi-Fi. However, if i am on a local data network, i am not able to sign in. Not a big issue for me now, but perhaps your support team can look into it :)Cheers!

Thank you! We will investigate this ! Thanks for taking the time to leave us 5 stars!

  • Dishonest Company That Holds Your Funds for 7 Days

    wes___

This company has time and time again been less than upfront to its customers. They first advertised the partnership with heymax as a card value proposition. After gaining traction, the CEO decided to stealthily remove certain benefits and blaming on AXS. After getting caught, he then went to MSM and blamed customers for using the exact benefits he advertised.Despite that saga and removal of instant withdrawals, I was still a loyal customer and advocate for CF. However, I think the company has gone too far and is slowly becoming unsavoury.I withdrew my funds on Sunday and today (Wed) is the day that they should arrive according to CF “up to 3 working days”. Only at 11pm+ on Wednesday (1hour before funds should come), I got an email that my withdrawal was delayed for another 5 days. This means from the up to 3 working days I was promised, my funds were delayed and will take 8 days to come.Wouldn’t recommend anyone to put in money in CF or at least, keep the bare minimum

    Developer Response

We are sorry to hear this. Withdrawals do typically take up to 3 business days. When you request a withdrawal, it typically takes up to 3 business days to process the withdrawal of invested funds – that’s how long it takes to sell your investments and transfer the money back to you.In some instances – like if you’ve recently added money, converted to/from USD, or made multiple transactions — your withdrawal might take a little longer to reach your account. That’s because those transactions may not have fully processed by our daily 1pm cut-off. In such cases, it can take up to 7 business days.

  • Poor communication and lack of transparency

    Devotionsvisage

Chocolate cuts off AXS miles without prior notice, then later words the decision as if it was decided by AXS. Chocolate later faces some internal issues, then abruptly stops instant withdrawals, again without notice. Shortly after, Chocolate stops Grab/YouTrip wallet top ups, again without any given notice. After this chaos, Chocolate’s CEO flocks to LinkedIn and CNA and attempts to pin some blame on customers who were after AXS miles, when Chocolate was the one who was too ambitious with their customer acquisition efforts to begin with. Due to all these factors, I have decided to withdraw all my funds and leave Chocolate Finance permanently.

Sorry to hear this! We want to reassure our customers that Chocolate Finance remains a strong and stable place for your spare cash, and we are here for the long run. Transparency and customer service are our top priorities, and your funds are always safe.

  • Money incorrectly deducted

    RL10209

Would not recommend to use, application does not instil any sense of confidence that my money is properly managed. App extremely inconsistent with up time, 8/10 times that I have opened the app it threw an error with a message to contact them without any ways to. Secondly, had a transaction declined on the merchant’s end but money still deducted on my wallet. When I called them, they told me there is nothing they can do and it may take up to 14 days to get the money back without interest earned. Extremely disappointed.

We are sorry to hear this. If you do have problems please try opening on mobile data not wifi and check no active VPNs. Please do reach out if you have continued problems!
