Description

Tyrannize the kingdom as a fire-breathing dragon who sleeps on gold and kidnaps princesses for fun!

"Choice of the Dragon" is a thrilling interactive novel by Dan Fabulich and Adam Strong-Morse, where your choices control the story. The game is entirely text-based--30,000 words, without graphics or sound effects--and fueled by the vast, unstoppable power of your imagination.

Battle heroes, wizards, and rival dragons in your insatiable thirst for gold and infamy. Start by dominating a local tribe of goblins, then usurp the kingdom, defending and expanding your despotic regime to annex neighboring kingdoms, incinerating the peasants in their thatched-roof cottages.

O, mighty dragon, spread your wings and let your shadow fall over the terrorized nation beneath you!

• Play as male, female, neither, or an undetermined gender
• Find and seduce another dragon to be your mate
• Kidnap princesses for good conversation, to bait heroes, or for a light snack
• Isn't it a little sexist to always kidnap princesses? Kidnap a prince instead
• Ransack holy temples, blaspheming against vengeful gods

Don't judge a book by its icon

Don't let the dull, grey app icon or the simple interface (with an unobtrusive ad) fool you - this is a brilliantly written "Choose your own adventure" story. Humorous and clever, very satisfying to read.

The game book has a handful of chapters and your dragon, while having no complex stats or dice to roll, has various attributes which will be tracked as you progress in the story, including your level of finesse, disdain, infamy, etc. as well as your hoard of gold, even your state of health.

All in all, a most pleasant surprise and worth re-reading as well.

Good and interesting

I was very immersed in the story and the various choices and numerous scenarios were cool and interesting, although there wasn't any illustrations. Give it a try; you'll get addicted to play it over and over again to see what happens if you choose the other options, plus, this game is free to play!

Good game

But despite there being many choices, some are pretty negligible and lead to the same conclusion. Also, is there any way at all to gain yourself a mate, or are all the answers programmed to lead to failure? If so, that is a rather wasted and annoying chapter that ought to be removed.

Otherwise, interesting game! :) Looking forward to updates and additional content. (If there will be any)
