Description
Cinch gives you simple, mouse or trackpad-driven window management by defining the left, right, and top edges of your screen as 'hot zones'. Drag a window until the cursor hits one of these zones then drop the window to have it cinch into place.
Cinching to the left or right edges of the screen will resize the window to fill half the screen, allowing you to easily compare two windows side-by-side (splitscreen).
Cinching to the top edge of the screen will maximize the window to fill the entire screen (fullscreen).
Dragging a window away from its cinched position will restore the window to its original size.

1 Feature that makes a big difference
It's amazing how this really makes such a difference on how I work on the Mac and especially at points where I require to multi task with files opened up side by side. Highly recomended !
This app/utility is a must!
I highly highly encourage everyone to download this. I have been using this for years. It has helped me write research papers in college: word document on one side, PDF of peer-reviewed journal on the other side. It helps with watching YouTube videos on one side, while sending emails on the other. It helps me today build websites with client notes on one side and my work on the other. Yes, now Mac OS has the split view built in, but its not the same. With Cinch, you can do it on any app and you can do it for just half the screen. Plus, I personally dislike using the full screen functionality for some applications, with this, you get the traditional “Maximise” of any window. It is one of the first apps I download after setting up a new Mac.
