Don't leave home without this
My travels depend on this. It has saved me from getting lost many times. It's database gives you not only detailed maps of the are you want to visit but also places of interest, hotels, restaurants, shops, subway/tram/bus stations, parks, and much much more. And the best of all is that it doesn't need wifi. It's GPS positioning is accurate so that I know where I am and can navigate to where I want to go.
The only thing I am not giving it a 5 star is it doesn't give you step by step directions as in googlemaps. Recently a friend gave me another app that has that as I will go try it. But I will still continue to use this app. One other things is that it is not updated. I went to a few locations recently and the locations have changed leading me to the wrong address. Still I will high recommend this app. In fact I have already, to many friends.
Navigation
I bought the paid version and liked the details provided by the offline mode.
Here is what I would have loved to see in the app:-
1. If I want to use this app online and want to get directions to reach a certain place from my location, I didn’t see any option and had to resort back to google maps. It is annoying to switch between apps for various requirements and I would like a one stop shop for everything.
2. Offline mode should also offer the directions to get from point A to point B. That would at least give enough guidance to a traveler in a foreign land to follow the road signs and reach their destination.

CityMaps2Go is a travel guide that combines a very detailed and clear map (including thousands of POIs) with correspondingly matched informative articles, pictures and user-generated content. It is not intended for and currently does not support navigation. Feel free to write us at support@ulmon.com.

Had the pro version but no longer allow us to use map without data..
