Don't buy if you hated NWN
If you hated NWN for the "get the five of..." then "retrieve the 4 of...", you are going to hate this game. The quests are exactly that. I didn't know what grinding was till I played this game. "Collect the FORTY pearls"?!?! Only buy this if tedium ad nauseum floats your boat.
Too slow gameplay
I bought this game because of good reviews. Played the game and started to roam around and started to level. After a few hours playing it, I got bored as the gameplay is slow. Yes you can roam around as you want, freely explore but for what? The leveling system is so slow that at the time you realize what's going on, you will be bored and won't probably touch this game again. I do still play this game from time to time. I'm currently stuck in the quest that you will have to get 40 pearls from mermaids. Each pearl takes around forever to get as you will need to swim, dive down, get the pearl, go up, swim again, rinse, repeat, until you will doze off, zzzzzz.

Expansive world to explore, I'd say pretty graphics too! Definitely worth the price
