Image and sound are crystal clear. AI detection is great, notify us when baby is crying or might roll over. Love the auto image capture that serves as candid memories :)

Manage expectations and this product is awesome

This is a baby monitor with inbuilt AI to help detect face cover and baby rolling over. The AI works but is overly sensitive, but then again I would expect this given the affordable price point and large feature set for the rest of the product. It can be tweaked and there is always the option to pause, customise or turn off alerts.

The camera quality is excellent and offers a 18 hour rewindable playback to capture those missed and precious moments. It also offers live stream recording. It has a built in lullaby/white noise music and of course the ability to talk to your baby through the speaker.

The app will compile pics and 1min video clips over the day and present it on a feature wall. It is random and fun to browse through it. You will need to enable the free 1 year premium feature for this.

The customer service is outstanding with a direct chat line through the app. Queries and issues are resolved with personal attention and politeness. That alone, in my opinion, makes this product worth it because of the fantastic customer service, a rarity at this price point.

Pushing users to get subscription and away

Previously I was able to record video from history even without subscription. Now I can’t. This is new as my subscription has expired long ago and I was able record until just a few days ago. I also have other friends who do not have subscription and can still record. This is such a disgraceful way to push users to get a subscription. Because you know what, there are many ways to record the screen. It’s truly unnecessary to make this basic feature a subscription feature as ALL cameras on the market allow users to record history, even the most basic ones. And if you guys want to make CuboAi even less than a BASIC camera, go ahead. I will never be recommending this product to anyone and will encourage any new parent to look for an alternative on the market, which myself have already found one. There is a camera that only requires initial purchase, and all CuboAi’s subscription features including sleep analysis, boundary detection, temperature & humidity detection are free. On top of that, all videos are recorded locally and I can choose to download what I need. You will eventually lose all your users. Oh and did I mention I spent $400 for this BASIC camera??? Good luck.
