Latest review: all was going well then out of the blue one day, i can no longer control deebot via my phone. Deebot always offline. Tried all the methods mentioned by the app to reconnect. All failed. Error message and troubleshooting info all did not help. Repeated the steps more than 20 times in exact same fashion… and sometimes the deebot or app will react differently. Very inconsistent. There was no update to the app at all but i did update to ios 16.3 just before this happened. Not sure if related.

Prev review: Recently had another kind if map problem. Now got new problem. The map is present inside AUTO and CUSTOM. but it is a plain outline with no sections/rooms. The map is NOT present in AREA and in the map editing page. I have had to redraw the map stuff umpteen times. Always has map problems. Other than the map problems, it’s a good product. Please improve the map stuff. Thanks.

Instead of the app getting better and the robot getting smarter its going the other way. The app sata keeps getting corrupted. The maps are not able to backup. A change in wifi ped and u have to reset almost everything to scrath. And the machine has all features to create a 3d map to identify obkects but yet because the company want to sell mewer model they will not upgrade older generation read only 1 uear old model to utlise theor new software features. The robot keeps trying to go back to clean the obstacle areas and prolongs the cleaning time for the isual cycle by 25% to 40%. Pl just add a soime
Option to ignore obstacles from reclean. But most importantly pl fix the map function. Till you improve your software I am
Not going to invest in upgrading to newer models for the same brand.

The elation and joy of getting this self wash vacumn n mop bot was short lived. Bot returns to station after task and pads are washed. If asked Yiko to send out the bot again say within 2 hours the pad gets washed again b4 leaving station resulting in soaking wet pads. The air drying is pretty much useless as it does not dry the pads at all. I've resorted to just manually ejecting the bot from station each time before use so the pads won't get washed again. Now less than 1 month into use the mop pads are screeching loudly and customer service could not provide specific solution to the problem. Very disappointed. Should have bought another brand instead.
