While Elder Sign: Omens brilliantly conveys the spirit of the Elder Sign dice game, a few noteworthy differences were adopted to optimize the mobile play experience:
-A limited number of available Ancient Ones streamlines the game play experience while offering adjustable levels of difficulty. Face Yig in normal mode, Azathoth or Tsathoggua in hard mode, or Cthulhu or Ithaqua in very hard mode (in-app purchases required to face Cthulhu and Ithaqua).
-A number of subtle changes increase the peril of defending humanity. For example, the random negative effects drawn every midnight are more challenging, and the frequency of “no effect” results has been decreased. Monsters have likewise been altered to make them more difficult.
-Finally, there are no Ally cards in Elder Sign: Omens, which further streamlines play while increasing the overall challenge.

This game is not meant for new comer.. there is no interactive guide, only written manual. Very confusing for player who has never played an eldrich game before

Have played tons of game and am still playing it until now.
Graphic - very nice. True to Fantasy Flight Games quality standard. If you like Arkham/Cthulhu/Chaosium stuff you would like this a lot.
The first few games, you will feel that it is mostly luck based. However, afterwards, once you get the hang of the game, it is very possible to almost always win the game at normal difficulty. After you play the games quite a while, hard is mostly winnable. It is just the very hard part (Cthulhu) that will need a bit of luck to win.
Easiest composition would be: playing solo with character like Jenny Barnes/Michael Mcglenn/Monterey Jack
If you have the DLC, you can't go wrong with playing solo with Wilson Richards ---> almost gurantee a win in normal difficulty. 80% or more win rate vs Astaroth, and have beaten Cthulhu (very hard) few times already.
Flawless Implementation
Flawless Implementation of the original Board Game. Fans of the FFG Board Game will love this mobile version that does away with the set up, and people who have not played the Board Game before will enjoy the interesting and smart elements of this title. Highly recommended for those who love Lovecraftian horror and for board gamers of any age.
