Version 3.3.0
- Rooms now have a Theater mode, which allows one-to-many streaming and up to 100 people in a live session. Attendees will either be contributors (able to speak, show their webcam, stream video, and screen share) or viewers (able to see and hear everything, but muted with no webcam video). You can turn on Theater mode in the Evercast Admin Portal.
- When a room is in Theater mode, the Participant list shows which people are active contributors and which people are viewers.
- We updated the Room access menu to support Theater mode.
- If a participant exits a room in Do not disturb mode, they can re-enter the room without having to request access again.
- Fixed: We streamlined the process for guests with a special invite link to enter a private room in Do not disturb mode.
- Fixed: Switching between stream only mode and conference mode sometimes caused errors with recordings.
- Fixed: We stabilized a rare crash that was occurring with DeckLink streams of non-standard aspect ratio.
- Fixed: Sometimes users trying to join with a web browser link would be unable to get into the room.
