We really enjoyed our stay there. The place is very rustic with nostalgia feel. We were able to checked in earlier at 12 plus. The carpark was a little tricky to locate but the receptionist was very helpful to show us the way. The room was nicely decorated, bed was firm, only complaint was that pillows were too soft. The breakfast that were included was just superb! Love the curry which comes with the Nasi Lemak and Roti Canai. All of the staff there are so nice, friendly and helpful. My hubby only have praises and is looking forward to go back again

Never honour cashback as partnership with ShopBack

I have made 2 separate hotel bookings in Tokyo on Expedia via the ShopBack app. I was supposed to enjoy cashback for the 2 bookings. The bookings were booked at the same hotel, same method, same applied vouchers, only on different dates. The dates were just 3 days apart because I had taken a 3 day trip to another part of Tokyo. I got the cashback for the 1st hotel bookings after about 75 days on trip completion, but didn’t get the cashback for the 2nd booking. Wrote to ShopBack and was told my cashback was rejected because I cancel my booking. I didn’t and provide the necessary documents as proofs. Still Expedia refused to pay, and ShopBack said since the merchant did not award them commissions, so they are unable to give me cashback. This is not the 1st time Expedia tried to evade paying cashback. I have past case and had to write in many tines in order to get the cashback. These really made me think twice to book with them next time. Anyway there are so many hotel booking platforms that provide good deals, so Expedia is sabotaging itself for behaving in this manner. I cannot send the review if I choose 1 star. So no choice have to choose more stars. Again it’s Expedia way of doing biz

Plane ticket conditions changing magically

Bought economy tickets on expedia with the app staying at checkout that the ticket included a 23kg check in baggage at no additional cost. On the day of the flight, when checking in at the airport, the staff informed that the ticket did not include a check in baggage and an extra fee of $150 had to be paid for the baggage to be checked in. when checking the conditions on the expedia app itself, right as you scroll down to check the baggage information, it suddenly refreshed from free check in baggage up to 23kg to having to pay for a check in baggage up to 23kg. Highly do not recommend using expedia to book plane tickets for many other travellers on the day and the day before encountered the same dirty tactics by expedia, watching your check in baggage allowance disappear in front of your eyes as you are about to board for the flight. when contacted, expedia representative decided to play ignorant, not knowing anything and insisting that the ticket did not come with a baggage. constantly quoting that the website did not show a check in baggage tagged to my ticket. Be careful when using this platform for any air tickets. Will not fall for this scam, stay away if you would want to save money.
