Description

Ideal as a screening tool, this app provides useful assessment information around the child’s ability to use spoken (expressive) language skills. Early identification of any speech difficulties is vital when supporting children. This useful app assesses their expressive language skills by using a range of different questioning techniques.

The app uses both adult/practitioner judgements and user based questions to inform the expressive language assessment information. Questions are linked to approximate ages to support identification of the user’s strengths, areas for development and inform future action planning.

The assessment records and the analysis features provided inside the app gives you an overview of a child’s spoken language skills and can be a useful tool to use whilst waiting for a formal assessment from a trained professional.

• Suitable for practitioners, teachers and parents
• Easy to use assessment records
• Record data for multiple users
• Store and retrieve user assessment data
• Detailed results can be printed or emailed
