Flip (formerly Flipgrid) is a free app from Microsoft where educators can create safe groups for students to engage in curriculum using short video, text, and audio messages. Educators can control who is invited to their Flip groups and what they can see, and 84 percent of educators who use Flip say their students are more engaged in the learning experience!

Student on Flipgrid
I am a 10 yr student from Singapore and the platform is easy and fun to use during this HBL period 😊 There IS one problem with the app, though. When you speed up your classmates’ videos, their voice recordings echo. I hope you guys will fix it soon as most of my friends speak quite slow. I hope you guys will fix it soon :(
It’s good
I wish Flipgrid made that students can make grid. I really liked the app but that is the weak part of flipgrid. I think lots of other people want flipgrid to improve on that.
Interactive App!
Really love this app as it makes discussion a lot more fun, especially during this HBL period. Love how simple to use this app is as well! However, I would love it more if students are able to give text responses or feedback to videos, and students can see their own feedback through their personal account page.
