First impression..
I enjoyed the iOS version that I used to play on my iPad. Only thing missing on that version was a "click anywhere to fire" feature. The OS X version has it so that's a big plus point. I found it didn't run very smoothly on my MacBook (might be because I had a number of other apps running). Nevertheless this is a fantastic game. Where's my grenade launcher…? I hope GLU release an OS X version of Contract Killer (the original game and not that Zombie nonsense. :-b) next.
Great gameplay, but...
I'm giving 2 stars, because I am impressed with the gameplay, but I do so reluctantly, as the rewards are just not that motivational… Meaning that if you want to use certain things like armour, med kits, launchers & air strikes, one has to buy gold for them. Whenever I tried doing that, my purchase was never successful. Any further attempts causes the game to stall with a wheel spinning, saying "Please wait". And then I have to "Force Quit" the game. Bloody annoying & frustrating, because I'm stuck on the last mission of Level 3 & cannot level up, because I simply don't have the right weapons to defeat the "boss" of that level :P I feel like changing my rating to 1 star because of this purchase glitch.
This Game….
its a great game. i can tell. i played it once on my mac, and it was working perfectly and amazingly its good.
then i had to quit due to some business. and when i came back to play it, it loaded, something which did not happen before. and it takes FOREVER, that i give up and just try to quit the game. which i ALSO CANNOT, so i am FORCED to SHUT DOWN, by use of the ON/OFF Button. there was no other way for me to escape the Game which was loading* FOREVER.
this isnt the first time, i retried it a few times, Same Result.
i Know this Game is amazing, its high on the features for free games for a reason, but it just won't work. i hope they fix it, or somehow they give me a solution to try, where it would work again.
