Description

Galaxy Battleship, a sci-fi SLG mobile game that allows you to explore the universe and create a civilization beyond earth. Beginning as a planet commander, you must build your own base and keep expanding by developing buildings, technologies and military force for the sake of survival. It also requires you to organize a space fleet to defend against Space Pirates and other potential enemies. Or, you may choose to cooperate with players all over the world and strive for being the lord of the universe!

A fun game

Quite a fun game to play, albeit with tactics similar to other strategy games.

Is there a way to earn free kr? No matter how small that amount is? Coz my stupid red battleship hood is going to die in three days all because individual upgrades cost a whopping 400 kr

Fine game

The concept of the game isn’t very new.
However, the execution of the game is done fairly well, and it’s able to retain some attention for some time.

However, there are some comments I’d like to make:

The tutorial system could use more theory. For example, through the game, it isn’t easy to find a description of what the rarities are (white > blue > green > gold > red).

Additionally, strengths and weaknesses of different ships aren’t too clear, and rarity doesn’t clearly draw a strong point.
For example, does high Aerial and Laser DEF outclass high soldier count? Does that mean my 7000hp Gold Kirov is better than my 10000 Hp green Pervenets? But my Pervenets’ DPS 500 units higher, so doesn’t this green ship outclass the gold ship anyway?
Is there a point in diversifying your fleet, or are battleships, carriers and frigates all going to do the same thing for you? Or is one of the classes of ships much better than the rest?

It’s hard to see especially when we don’t really know what the average of each ship is. Something I’d suggest, is to keep the tooltip you have (things about what a ship is strong or weak at) when you draw the ship somewhere easily seen near the ship’s stats.

Lastly, my main concern, the 3 factions aren’t split well. I’m in Federation, in Pisces. And it’s clearly tipped in our side. Federation frequently occupies every planet, and the other factions are mostly inactive players. Empire as a faction is basically non existent compared to Republic and Federation in Pisces.

I think that this is due to the beginner boost that attracts people to join Federation. What I suggest, is to put the newbie boost on whichever faction needs members more, or begin having bots to act as players. Because at this rate, Federation in Pisces will just grow and dominate everything in it, and it would grow boring.
